Jinhai Titanium sees increased titanium dioxide output

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 22 Mar 23 - As one of the major titanium oxide producers in China, Shandong Jinhai Titanium Industry Resources Technology Co. would increase their titanium dioxide output in March to around 21,700t, up by 4,700t from February.
"As the demand from downstream consumers remains strong, we received more orders recently. As a result, we decided to increase our titanium dioxide output," said a source from the company, adding that they would produce around 21,700t in March while the output in February reached around 17,000t.
The producer, based on an annual production capacity of 260,000t, expects to produce around 21,700t in March, up by 4,700t from last month. They produced around 162,000t in 2022 and almost 48,700t so far in 2023.
The current mainstream prices of rutile titanium dioxide 93%min in Shandong increased to RMB16,200-16,700/t (USD2,357-2,429/t) EXW D/A 180 days, up by RMB200/t (USD29/t) from early last week.
