Heng Hiap Metal ready to export the first vessel of bauxite

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 21 Mar 23 - Heng Hiap Metal Sdn Bhd, a Kuantan-based bauxite producer from Malaysia, gets ready to export the first vessel of bauxite over 40,000t, a source from the company reported to Asian Metal.
"We now hold over 40,000t of bauxite and get ready to export the first vessel," said the source, adding that they supply bauxite Al2O3 47%min SiO2 7%max. They produced close to 10,000t last month and might 30,000t in March.
With the production capacity of 600,000tpy, they produced around 30,000t in 2022.
Current mainstream prices for bauxite Al2O3 47%min ReSiO2 5%max keep at USD63-65/dt CIF China, stable from one week ago. As the supply from Indonesia halted, Chinese demand for Malaysian bauxite improves.
