The ferrochrome benchmark contract price for Q2 2023 between South African ferrochrome suppliers and European steel mills was set at 172 cents/lb Cr, up by about 15.4% from 149 cents/lb Cr in Q1 2023 but down by nearly 20.4% from 216 cents/lb Cr in Q2 2022.
