30GW monocrystalline silicon pulling & slicing project starts production in Guangnan

On March 16, the first phase of a 30-gigawatt pulling and 30-gigawatt slicing project of monocrystalline silicon in Guangnan came into commercial production officially after the successful start-up of furnaces.
The project, with a total investment of RMB10 billion (USD1.45 billion), is scheduled to be constructed by three phases, the first of which will bring an annual output value of RMB15 billion (USD2.18 billion), an industrial added value of RMB4 billion (USD581 million) as well as tax of RMB600 million (USD87 million).
