European HC ferrochrome prices steady

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 17 Mar 23 – Most suppliers did not change their prices from early this week due to the unchanged demand. Currently, the mainstream prices for HC ferrochrome Cr65%min C8%max stand at USD2.30-2.35/Ib Cr in warehouse Rotterdam T/T 30 days, in line with early this week. Insiders estimate the mainstream prices would keep steady in the coming week as most suppliers hold watchful attitudes and would keep their prices steady.
A trader from South Europe mentioned, "We offer USD2.30/Ib Cr for HC ferrochrome Cr65%min C8%max with no concession at present, unchanged from early this week". They did not conclude any deal this week and last sold around 20t at USD2.50/Ib Cr in end February. They hold watchful attitudes and predict the mainstream prices would keep flat in the coming week.
The trader, based on a regular monthly trading volume of around 50t of HC ferrochrome Cr65%min C8%max, predicts to sell around 50t in March, in line with last month. They have no inventory at the moment.
