BEIJING (Asian Metal) 16 Mar 23 – Most suppliers keep their prices unchanged from early this week. Currently, the mainstream prices for Chinese chrome metal 99%min stand at RMB70,500-72,000/t (USD10,239-10,457/t) EXW D/P, unchanged from early this week. Insiders predict the mainstream prices would keep unchanged in the coming week as most suppliers have no plan to change their prices.
A producer from North China mentioned, "We currently quote RMB72,000/t (USD10,457/t) delivered D/A 180 days for Chinese chrome metal 99%min and could accept the price as low as RMB70,000/t (USD10,168/t) EXW D/P if the customer purchase below 10t once, and we could consider the price as low as RMB68,500/t (USD9,950/t) EXW D/P if the customer could purchase above 20t once". They last sold around 5t at RMB71,000/t (USD10,316/t) in late last week. They have no plan to change their price and predict the mainstream prices would keep unchanged in the coming week.
The producer, with an annual production capacity of 4,800t of chrome metal 99%min, predicts to produce around 300t in March, unchanged from last month. They produced around 900t so far in 2023. They have no stock at present.

They have no plan to change their price and predict the mainstream prices would keep unchanged in the coming week due to the unchanged prices of raw materials and unchanged demand.
