BEIJING (Asian Metal) 15 Mar 23 – Most suppliers keep their prices flat within this week due to the quiet market. Currently, the mainstream prices for Zimbabwean chrome concentrate 50%min stand at RMB61-62/dmtu (USD8.86-9.01/dmtu) in warehouse Tianjin, unchanged from early this week. Insiders predict the mainstream prices would keep unchanged within this week as most suppliers have no plan to change their prices.
A trader from South China mentioned, "We quote RMB60/dmtu (USD8.72/dmtu) for Zimbabwean chrome concentrate 48%min with no concession at the moment, unchanged from early this week". They noted that the market keeps quiet in the recent two weeks, as they did not receive any inquiry in the recent two weeks. They last sold around 2,000t at RMB60/dmtu (USD8.72/dmtu) in early March. They have no plan to change their price and predict the mainstream prices would keep flat within this week.
