The importer, based on a a regular monthly trading volume of 10t of indium ingot 99.995%min, expects to sell around 8t this month, a decrease of around 2t from last month . They hold around 10t of stocks now, unchanged from late last month . They sold around 120t in 2022 and about 18t so far in 2023.
Another importer in America disclosed that they also watched the import market of indium ingot 99.995%min in the past month as their have no more demand to build stocks. They last imported 1t at USD200/kg CIF US early February from a regular exporter, who offers USD210/kg CIF US for indium ingot 99.995%min now and could accept a counteroffer of USD5/kg for firm bids .
