On March 7, Jinhui Industry Group signed a general contract and equipment supply agreement for Weide's 200ktpa 1,450mm stainless steel cold rolling project with the general contractor, Shen Kan Engineering & Technology Corporation, MCC and the equipment supplier, Wuhan Qianye Engineering & Technology Co., Ltd.
According to the group's planning and deployment, Weide Company plans to add two 1,450mm 20-roller cold rolling mills and supporting pickling lines to form an annual production capacity of 200,000t of ultra-thin stainless steel strip, reducing production costs and improving product added value and market competitiveness. In the future, the company will also build a number of stainless steel precision cold rolling production lines, such as five-continuous rolling and 20-roller rolling.
