Chinese stainless steel prices saw different trends during this month. Prices of 304 grade stainless HRC and CRC, 201 grade stainless CRC, 430 grade stainless CRC, 300 series stainless steel bar and 304 grade stainless seamless pipe in major markets of China moved down during the month on weak demand and the decrease in steel mills' EXW prices, while those of 201 grade stainless HRC went up mainly supported by the tight supply from steel mills. Customers still purchased materials sparingly because of insufficient orders and traders faced a bad sales performance.
