BEIJING (Asian Metal) 7 Mar 23 – Most suppliers hold pessimistic attitudes towards the market demand and decreased their prices from late last week
A trader from North China mentioned, "We offer USD2.53/Ib Cr FOB China for LC ferrochrome Cr60%min C0 . 1%max with no counteroffer at present, while we quoted USD2.55/Ib Cr FOB China late last week" . They explained that they decreased their price due to the weak market demand and they did not conclude any deal at USD2.55/Ib Cr last week . They last sold around 50t at USD2.60/Ib Cr in mid February . They hold pessimistic attitudes and predict the mainstream prices would move down in the following week, and they might move down their price in the coming week.
The trader, based on a regular monthly trading volume of around 200t of LC ferrochrome Cr60%min C0.1%max, predicts to sell around 200t in March, unchanged from last month . They have no stock at the moment.
