China remained Germany's most important trading partner for the seventh year in a row in 2022, as the bilateral trade value between China and Germany reached EUR297.9 billion (USD318.34 billion) last year, according to the data released by Germany's Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) on February 16.
The data showed that German imports from China increased by 33.6% year on year to EUR191.1 billion (USD204.2 billion) in 2022, and meanwhile the country's exports to China went up by 3.1% year on year to EUR106.8 billion (USD114.1 billion).
