Chinese stainless steel prices witnessed different trends during this month. Prices of 304 grade stainless HRC and CRC, 430 grade stainless CRC, 300 series stainless steel bar and 304 grade stainless seamless pipe in major markets of China went up during the month mainly supported by the increase in steel mills' EXW prices, while those of 201 grade stainless HRC and CRC remained stable. Because of the Spring Festival holiday, customers just purchased materials upon orders and the market sales performance kept unsatisfactory.
