Chengtun Mining's Kalongwe project to produce first batch of copper and cobalt

Chengtun Mining said on February 6 that the construction of its Kalongwe mining and smelting project is basically completed and the project has commenced hot commissioning, with the first batch of copper product expected in early February and the first batch of cobalt product expected in mid-February. The project has a designed annual production capacity of 30,028t of copper cathode and 3,556.4t of cobalt in crude cobalt hydroxide.
