Prices of non-grain oriented electrical steel in major markets of China kept the upward trend during this month mainly supported by the increase in steel mills' EXW prices, while those of grain oriented electrical steel went down on weak demand. Because of the Spring Festival holiday, customers purchased materials sparingly and the market sales performance was unsatisfactory.
