Jingmen government signs cooperation agreement on international lithium town industrial park project

On January 31, Jingmen city government signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with related enterprises on international lithium town industrial park project. At present, the industrial park has implemented or is implementing investment of around RMB44.3 billion (USD6.57 billion) with a 152GWh power energy-storage battery project and supportive facilities built in place. According to the agreement, the related enterprises will inject additional RMB20.1 billion (USD2.98 billion) into the industrial park for another 60GWh power energy-storage battery project and supportive facilities and logistics service. When the overall project is built and goes into operation, it is expected to achieve an annual production value of over RMB150 billion (USD22.24 billion).
