CNIA: China's lithium carbonate output up by 32.5% YOY in 2022

According to statistics from the lithium branch of China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association (CNIA), China produced 395,000t of lithium carbonate (production capacity: about 600,000t) and 246,400t of lithium hydroxide (production capacity: about 360,000t) in 2022 respectively, rising by about 32.5% and 29.5% YOY; the output of lithium chloride during the year went down by about 27.2% YOY to 22,200t (production capacity: 35,000t).
