Shaanxi receives 100ktpy new silica powder material project

On January 9, the government of Hanyin County signed a cooperation agreement on a 100ktpy new silica powder material project in Hanyin, Shaanxi with Ankuang Huahaizhifeng Mining Co., Ltd. The project aims to construct one 50ktpy high-purity silica sand production line and one 50ktpy silica powder production line by two phases. The first phase has commenced construction from September 20, 2022 and come into production in late December 2022. The second phase is scheduled to start construction since January 1, 2024 and be put into operation by late December 2024. The total investment of the project is RMB120 million (USD18 million), funded by the company itself. Upon completion, the project will bring annual sales revenues of RMB120 million (USD18 million), annual profits of RMB10 million (USD1.5 million), as well as tax of RMB3-5 million (USD443,039-768,400) per year.
