Xiarihamu Ni-Co Mine dressing project outputs first batch of Ni-Co concentrate powder

On December 31, 2022, Xiarihamu Nickel-Cobalt Mine dressing project of Huanghe Hydropower Development Co., Ltd. was successfully commissioned under load, and produced the first batch of nickel-cobalt concentrate powder.
With the total investment of about RMB5 billion (USD723 million) and the design annual capacity of 5.61 million tons of ores, Xiarihamu Nickel-Cobalt Mine Dressing Project constructs the supporting dressing plant with an annual processing capacity of 5.61 million tons of ores and an annual output of 300,000 tons of nickel-cobalt concentrate. At present, major and auxiliary projects including the mineral processing system were basically put into operation, and the project has officially entered the trial production stage.
