Chengtun Mining to acquire 100% equity of Zhonghe Nickel for RMB191 million

Chengtun Mining announced on December 14, to further expand the company's new energy battery nickel material business, it intends to purchase 100% of the equity of Zhonghe Nickel Industry Co., Ltd. by way of cash. The consideration of the transaction is RMB191 million (USD27 million). Held by Chengdu Electrometallurgical Co., Ltd., Zhonghe Nickel is an entity enterprise with rich experience in nickel smelting. It adopts the technique of oxygen-rich side-blowing to smelt high-ice nickel, with a maximum annual production capacity of 8,000 tons of high-ice nickel.
