Teli Magnesium commences equipment commissioning for phase one of Ma'anshan die-casting project

Sources from Ma'anshan Hanshan Economic Development Zone revealed that phase one of the Mg-Al alloy new material development and application project invested by Anhui Salt Lake Teli Magnesium New Materials Co., Ltd. is under equipment commissioning now. The project will have a planned land area of 130 Mu (USD8.67 hectares) and will consist of four phases.
Phase one of the project has a land area of around 35 Mu (USD2.34 hectares) and a building area of 16,000 square meters of workshops and supportive facilities, and 80 new sets of die-casting equipment, processing facilities and robots will be procured for phase one. Its main products will consist of two major categories, Mg alloy and Al alloy. Mg alloy products are mainly auto dashboard beam, mobile telephone shell, aero engine parts, etc.; and Al alloy products are mainly filters used in telecommunication base stations, motorcycle wheel hubs and shock absorbers. When the project is built, it is expected to have an annual production capacity of 5,000t of Mg alloy and Al alloy die-casting products.
