According to statistics released by the Central Statistical Office of Poland, in October 2022, Poland produced 4.355 million tons of hard coal, down by 8.1% YoY while up by 13.4% MoM, and it produced 4.524 million tons of lignite, up by 16.7% YoY while down by 2.8% MoM. According to this calculation, in October, Poland's coal output totaled 8.879 million tons, up by 3.0% YoY and 4.5% MoM.
From January to October 2022, Poland's coal output totaled 89.827 million tons, up by 2.2% YoY. Among them, the output of hard coal was 44.079 million tons, down by 3.6% YoY, and the output of lignite was 45.748 million tons, up by 8.5% YoY.
