Xingren Denggao to build 100kt aluminum capacity through replacement program

In accordance with relevant guidelines and implementation measures issued by the State Council and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the 100,000t primary aluminum capacity replacement scheme drawn up by Guizhou Xingren Denggao New Materials Co., Ltd. was made public by the Guizhou Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology from November 7 to 21, 2022, and the formal capacity replacement scheme has been recently released.
The company plans to build 72 electrolytic cells of 530kA for 100,000t of primary aluminum capacity through a replacement program where Zunyi Yulong Aluminum Co., Ltd. plans to close 180 electrolytic cells of 240kA for the same capacity. Construction of new cells is scheduled to begin in November 2022, with production expected to commence in March 2023.
