GEM: LFP cathode material enters certification stage

GEM announced recently on its interaction platform that the 20,000tpy LFP cathode material demonstration production line completed in June 2022 in Fu'an, Fujian already entered the product certification stage. GEM doesn't conduct R&D for the technology of extracting lithium from salt lakes. Focusing on recycling and mining of lithium resources in "urban mines", GEM already built lithium carbonate production capacity of 5,000tpy and plans to recycle over 20,000t of lithium carbonate per year by 2026.
