MEE unveils action plan to win battle for blue skies

China aims to eliminate heavy air pollution across the country by 2025, according to an action plan on winning the battle for blue skies, jointly issued by the Ministry of Ecology and Environment (MEE) and other 14 central government agencies, ministry spokesman Liu Youbin told a news conference on November 28.
The action plan also aims to contain ozone pollution while mitigating PM2.5, effectively curb the increasing ozone density, and significantly reduce emissions of key pollutants from mobile sources.
