According to the Sonid Left Banner Government Office, recently the National Development and Reform Commission issued the Reply on the Adjustment of Construction Scale of Manglai Open Pit Coal Mine Project in Baiyinwula Mining Area, Inner Mongolia, and agreed to adjust the construction scale of the Manglai Open Pit Coal Mine and its supporting coal dressing plant from 5 million tons/year to 10 million tons/year, marking that the Manglai Open Pit Coal Mine has officially entered the ranks of ten-million-ton coal mines.
