China's 16MW large capacity offshore wind power generation unit goes off production line

On November 23rd, the 16MW large-capacity offshore wind power generation unit independently researched and developed by China went off the production line in Fujian Three Gorges Offshore Wind Power International Industrial Park. With the capacity of 16MW, the impeller diameter of 252 meters and the impeller sweeping area of about 50,000 square meters, this wind power generation unit has the largest unit capacity, the largest impeller diameter and the lightest weight per MW in the world, marking that China made an important breakthrough in the high-end equipment manufacturing of large-capacity offshore wind power generation units and reached the international leading level.
