WorldSteel: Global crude steel output down by 3.9% YoY in Jan-Oct

According to the data of WorldSteel, the global crude steel output remained unchanged at 147.3 million tons year-on-year in October 2022. From January to October, the global crude steel output accumulated to about 1.553 billion tons, a decrease of 3.9% from the same period of last year.
China produced 79.8 million tons of crude steel in October, up by 11% year-on-year; The output from January to October recorded 860.6 million tons, down by 2.2% YOY. India's crude steel output reached 10.5 million tons in October, an increase of 2.7% from the corresponding period of last year; The output from January to October reported 103.8 million tons, up by 6.1% year-on-year.
