Hunan aims for over 40GW of installed new energy power capacity by 2030

Hunan has set target to increase the share of non-fossil energy in total energy consumption to 22% by the 2025, about two percentage points higher than the national average, and aims to further increase the share to 25% by 2030, on par with the the national level, according to an official document released by the local government on November 22.
The province expects its total installed new energy power capacity to exceed 40 GW by 2030 and aims to achieve pumped storage capacity of 20 GW by 2030.
