China's first offshore wind power project goes into operation

On November 16, CGN announced that the 78 wind-driven power generators of CGN Shanwei Jiaziyi 500MW offshore wind power project were all successfully connected to grid, indicating that China's first offshore wind power project is ready for operation, and also indicating construction completion and operation commencement of the first GW-level offshore wind power project in eastern Guangdong (including CGN Shanwei Houhu 500MW and Jiaziyi 500MW).
