Prices of imported iron ore at ports in China witnessed a downward trend during this month due to the price decrease in futures market and international market. In addition, prices of Chinese origin iron ore in major regions such as Hebei, Shandong and Liaoning went down because of the price decrease of imported iron ore at ports and the downward price trend in international market, while those in Shanxi moved up mainly supported by the increased demand from steel mills.
