Gcx Semitech completes construction of 12in integrated circuit advanced processing stage one project

On November 1, a construction completion/commencement ceremony was held for major industrial projects in Xishan district, Wuxi city. At the ceremony, Linton Kayex announced commencement of construction of its semi-conductor high-end equipment research and manufacturing stage two project, while Gcx Semitech Co., Ltd. announced completion of construction of its 12in integrated circuit advanced processing stage one project.
With a total investment of RMB1 billion (USD0.14 billion), a land area of 132 Mu (8.8 hectares) and building area of 154,000 square meters, the Linton Kayex project will be capable to produce 180 units of silicon carbide equipment, 600 mono-crystal furnaces, 240 units of module equipment and 30 units of ALD equipment per year.
With a total investment of RMB500 million (USD68.47 million), a land area of 60 Mu (4 hectares) and building area of 45,000 square meters, the Gcx Semitech project will have a designate annual production capacity of 3.6 million pieces of 12in wafer and will also provide technical service related to advanced processing and CMP.
