Luoping Zinc & Electricity: Fule lead-zinc mine suspends operation

On October 31, Luoping Zinc & Electricity announced that its three subsidiaries in Guizhou decided that, except Yuhe lead-zinc mine under Puding Hongtai Mining Co., Ltd. which is in re-construction now and therefore can't resume operation, other three zinc-lead mines respectively under Puding Xiangrong Mining, Puding Derong Mining and Puding Hongtai Mining will return to normal production from October 31 on; but the Fule lead-zinc mine, whose mining permit has expired, would suspend all mining operations from October 31 on until the permit is renewed. This suspension will lead to an expected decrease of 200t in the company's zinc concentrate supply.
