According to relative data, in the first half of 2022, the consumption volume of China, the world's largest steel scrap consuming country, went down by 13.8% YOY to 119 . 6 million tons; that of EU, the second largest consuming region, declined by 3 . 2% YOY to about 43 . 856 million tons; that of USA decreased by 3% YOY to 22 . 50 million tons; that of Turkey declined to 12 . 48 million tons, a decrease of 3% YOY.
