On September 30, 2022, the India Ministry of Commerce & Industry issued a notice stating that in response to an application submitted by the Indian Ferro Alloy Producers' Association, it initiated a bilateral safeguards inquiry on ferromolybdenum imported from South Korea, with its survey period lasting from April 2018 to March 2022. The Indian Customs code of the product involved is 72027000.
