In particular, export value and import value went up by 10 . 7% and 5 . 2% YOY respectively to RMB2 . 19 trillion and RMB1 . 62 trillion during the month with the trade surplus expanding by 29 . 9% to RMB573 . 57 billion . Calculated in the U . S . dollar, in September 2022, China's total foreign trade value was USD560 . 77 billion, up by 3 . 4% YOY; export value and import value grew by 5 . 7% and 0 . 3% YOY respectively to USD322 . 76 billion and USD238 . 01 billion, with the trade surplus growing by 24 . 5% to USD84 . 75 billion.
