Prices of imported iron ore at ports in China saw an upward trend during this month because of the increased demand from steel mills. Besides, prices of Chinese origin iron ore in major regions such as Hebei, Shandong and Liaoning went down during the month due to the price decrease in international market, while those in Shanxi went up because of the price increase of imported iron ore at ports.
