Fuyuan Rare Earth launches operation of 5ktpy yttrium-europium ore processing project in Meizhou

On September 29, an operation-launching ceremony was held in the Pingyuan High-tech Zone, Meizhou, Guangdong for the 5ktpy yttrium-europium ore processing project invested by Fuyuan Rare Earth. This is the largest green separation plant for heavy rare earth built in China.
With a total investment of RMB210 million (USD29.52 million), the project can separate and extract 15 kinds of high-purity rare earth oxides or rare earth concentrates including lanthanum oxide, neodymium oxide, yttrium oxide, etc. and can process 5,000t of mixed ionic rare earth oxides per year, and it is expected to generate an annual operation revenue of around RMB870 million (USD122 million).
