    1 Market Highlights
    1.1 Prebaked anode


    Supported by the increased pet coke and coal tar pitch price, prebaked anode prices in China rebounded late this month while the demand from southwest China weakened after aluminum smelters reduced production.



    1.2 Pet coke


    In September, pet coke prices in China moved up as the purchase demand improved and stocks reduced.



    1.3 Graphite electrode


    Average prices of graphite electrode continued going down in September, while the price rebounded from late the month for the reduced stocks.



    1.4 CPC


    CPC prices in China climbed in September for the increased pet coke prices and firm demand.



    1.5 Coal tar pitch


    Coal tar pitch prices in China rose further in September as the supply remained short and cost of coal tar kept high.
