Weiming Environment to issue convertible bonds to raise no more than RMB2.35 billion

On September 27, Weiming Environment announced that it planned to issue convertible bonds to raise no more than RMB2.35 billion (USD0.33 billion) for a 40,000tpy nickel metal project (Indonesia) and Yongkang waste-to-energy power plant project as well as to supplement working capital. The company will set up Weiming (Singapore) International Holding Co., Ltd. to operate the Indonesian project which uses laterite nickel ore to extract nickel matte.
