Nippon Steel cuts contract prices of nickel series stainless steel plates for Sep

Nippon Steel Stainless Steel Co., Ltd. announced on September 8 the contract price adjustment plan for domestic stainless steel plate signed in September 2022. Prices for SUS304 nickel series cold-rolled sheet and plate dropped by JPY20,000/t (USD141/t), while the basic prices moved up by JPY10,000/t (USD70.28/t) and the alloy surcharges were lowered by JPY30,000/t (USD211/t); those for SUS430 chrome series cold-rolled sheet remained unchanged, while the basic prices also moved up by JPY10,000/t (USD70.28/t) and the alloy surcharges were lowered by JPY10,000/t (USD70.28/t).
