Sinoma Science & Technology starts building lithium battery separator project of 110 million square meters

Sinoma Science & Technology Co., Ltd. announced on August 10th that a ceremony was held recently in Hohhot to formally launch the construction of the Inner Mongolia Lithium Battery Separator Expansion Project of its holding subsidiary, Sinoma Lithium Battery Separator Co., Ltd.
The expansion project includes four production lines that have a total annual production capacity of 320 million square meters of wet-process asynchronous diaphragm with the fabric width of 4.2 meters, six production lines that have a total annual production capacity of 720 million square meters of wet-process asynchronous diaphragm with the fabric width of 5.5 meters and coating diaphragm production lines that have a total annual production capacity of 748 million square meters. The project's annual production capacity of lithium battery separator and coating diaphragm will reach over 1.1 billion square meters and 700 million square meters respectively in 2023 after the construction is completed.
