Chinese stainless steel prices witnessed different trends during this month. Prices of 304 grade stainless HRC and CRC, 201 grade stainless HRC, 430 grade stainless CRC and 304 grade stainless seamless pipe in major markets of China went down further during the month on weak demand and the decrease in steel mills' EXW prices, while those of 201 grade stainless CRC and 300 series stainless steel bar were generally stable. Customers still purchased materials upon orders and the market sales performance remained unsatisfactory.
