Da Ming International's stainless steel sales down by 9.1% YOY in H1 2022

Da Ming International recently released operating data showing that in the first half of 2022, its sales of stainless steel processing services fell by about 9.1% year-on-year to 865,358 tons, and its processing volume dropped by about 5.6% year-on-year to 1,379,928 tons; sales of carbon steel processing services increased by about 11.4% from the same period last year to 1,755,596 tons, and the processing volume rose by about 4.0% compared with the first half of 2021 to 1,924,192 tons.
In the second quarter of 2022, the sales volume of its stainless steel processing services decreased by about 12.8% year-on-year to 454,689 tons, and the processing volume declined by about 10.5% from the corresponding period last year to 717,011 tons; the sales volume of carbon steel processing services increased by about 7.0% year-on-year to 948,382 tons, and the processing volume rose by about 1.3% YOY to 1,024,778 tons.
