NDRC allocates RMB2.4 billion to support construction of energy conservation and carbon reduction projects

Recently, the National Development and Reform Commission of China (NDRC) issued a special project on pollution control, energy conservation and carbon reduction (energy conservation and carbon reduction direction), with an investment of 2.4 billion (USD354.9 million) to be allocated under the second batch of central budget 2022, to support the transformation of energy conservation and carbon reduction projects in key areas and industries in different regions, as well as to support the construction of low-carbon, zero-carbon and negative carbon projects, energy-saving and low-carbon technology innovation demonstration projects, and carbon reduction projects supported by circular economy.
