Thailand launches anti-dumping sunset review on certain iron steel pipe and tube from China

On July 19th, the Foreign Trade Department of Ministry of Commerce in Thailand reported that it would launch the first anti-dumping sunset review on certain iron and steel pipe and tube originating from China and South Korea under the application submitted by relative association in Thailand on March 18th
Thailand initiated an anti-dumping investigation on certain iron and steel pipe and tube originating from China and South Korea on January 19th, 2016 and decided to impose 3.22%-66 . 01% and 3 . 49%-53 . 88% of anti-dumping duties based on CIF prices on products involved from the two countries respectively with a validity period of five years starting from July 20th, 2017 to July 19th, 2022.
. During the investigation period, anti-dumping duties at the current rate will be levied on the products involved in the form of deposits and the validity period will not exceed one year . These measures come into effect in the following day after the publication of the report.
