Jingye Group's Phase I 2Mt scrap steel processing and recycling project put into operation

On the morning of July 20, the commissioning ceremony of Jingye Group's Phase I 2Mt scrap steel processing and recycling project was held in Mengerzhuang Industrial Park.
It is reported that Jingye Group is building a 5 million tons scrap processing and recycling project through two phases, which has been listed as key project of Hebei. The total investment of the project is RMB1.23 billion (USD182 million), covering an area of 113.3 acres. Based on an annual recycling and processing capacity of 5 million tons of scrap steel, the project expects to realize 20.275 billion (USD3 billion) of operating revenue and 440 million (USD65.13 million) taxes per year. The Phase I 2Mt scrap steel processing and recycling project involves three production lines of shearing, packaging and crushing, which can recycle and process 2 million tons of scrap each year.
