CNNC signs strategic cooperation agreement for the whole industry chain of VRB energy storage

CNNC Hua Yuan Titanium Dioxide announced on July 7 that the company and Sichuan V-liquid energy Co., Ltd. signed strategic cooperation agreement on "whole industrial chain of all vanadium REDOX flow battery (VRB) energy storage", with both parties agreeing to carry out comprehensive and in-depth cooperation around the whole industry chain of VRB energy storage, establish a long-term, stable resource coordination strategic partnership based on the layout of the national long-term energy storage market in Gansu, so as to make positive contributions to the nation's "carbon peaking and carbon neutrality" target.
According to the agreement, this industry chain will be built in the form of joint venture by both parties, including but not limited to vanadium metal smelting and vanadium electrolyte manufacturing, VRB energy storage system equipment manufacturing, new energy and energy storage power station construction, etc. In early stages, the two parties will focus on the development of vanadium ore resources in Gansu, and strive to obtain high-quality vanadium ore resources at home and abroad, with all resources obtained to be held and operated by the joint venture established by them. The two parties will also jointly develop the long-term energy storage market nationwide, mainly in Gansu and the surrounding northwest region during the "14th Five-Year Plan".
