Upon the globe trend of energy saving and carbon reduction as well as the rapid growth of renewable energy and electric vehicles, Formosa Plastics Group recently set up Formosa New Intelligent Technology Company to engage in the fields of energy conservation, energy storage, new energy and energy recycling, and plans to construct a 2.1GWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) cell plant in Zhangbin Industrial Park to build the green renewable energy industry chain.
