Hindustan Zinc's integrated zinc output up by 10% YoY in Q1 FY23

Hindustan Zinc Limited, the world's second-largest and India's only integrated zinc-lead-silver producer on July 4 announced its production results for the first quarter ended June 30, 2022 (Q1 FY23).
The company reported highest ever mined metal production in first quarter at 252,000 tonnes, up by 14% from Q1 FY22 while down by 15% sequentially. Its refined metal production in first quarter was also best ever at 260,000 tonnes, up by 10% as compared to Q1 FY22 and flat sequentially.
Integrated zinc production was 206,000 tonnes for Q1 FY23, up by 10% as compared to Q1 FY22 and down by 2% compared to Q4 FY 22. Refined lead production was 54,000 tonnes for Q1 FY23, up by 11% as compared to Q1 FY22 and up by 9% sequentially.
